Iris St Amant Gueno went home to our Lord peacefully October 10, 2022, at 89 years old. Iris was a long-time resident of New Orleans Louisiana, and most recent resident with her daughter Lauren & son in law Dan in Washington State where she passed away.
Iris was born March 22, 1933, to her parents who preceded her in death Pomphile & Frankie St Amant. Iris is survived by her sister Ruby Molezion (late Husband Roy), nieces and nephews Alecia (John) Rory (Sheila), Cindy (Joe) & Danny (Sherry), and Ronny Ricard (Judy), nieces and nephews Raquel (Tyrique), Angele (Hill), Crystal (Jimmy), Renee (Dusty), & Ronny Jr (Lateshia), preceding her in death sister Hilda Andry (late Husband Warren Bubbie) nieces and nephew Sue, Stacy, and Troy. Iris was married to William Gueno on November 6, 1954, together they had six children whom she expressed great pride & joy in. Her adored children are Lorna (Curtis) grandchildren Ryan (Karla), and Kristal. Patrick, grandchildren Brandon (Sarah), Shannon (Don), and preceding her in death Trenton. Jeff (Susan), grandchildren Spencer, and Zoe added grandchildren Melissa, and Kate. Wendy (Patrick W.) grandchildren Yoshio, Presley, added grandchildren Wendi, Leslie (Derrick), and Karen. Dwayne (Michelle), grandchildren Jonah, Alex, added grandchildren Paige, and Cameron. Lauren (Dan), Elaina, Sierra, Bryce, added grandchildren Charles (Misty), and Tessa (Nick). Iris loved each of her 23 grandchildren listed above, as well as 25 great grandchildren (Lorna) Matthew, Sage, Eden, Jade, Keira, and Tristan. (Patrick) Gabrielle, Marcus, Dashaydan, Darien. (Jeff) Nolan, Mason. (Wendy) Samira, Arianna, Yasmin, Dylan, Houston, and Joy. (Lauren) Aleigha, Emily, Emma, Jano, Chase, Avah, and Logan. Iris was also adored by many nieces, nephews & multiple cousins that brought joy abundantly to her life.
We would like to thank Allways Caring, and Catholic Community services of Aberdeen for providing loving caregivers in her time of need. We would also like to thank Puget Sound Hospice for their care during her final journey. Funeral arrangements will be Wednesday October 19, 2022, at 11 AM Edwards Memorial Funeral Home in Lakewood Washington.
