Sally Lojzim St. Amant, 74, of Hartford, Connecticut, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022.

Sally was born on May 8th, 1948 in Niantic, CT and adopted by the late William and Bernice Lojzim who began fostering Sally when she was an infant and determinedly battled the state of Connecticut to keep her in a drawn-out, public saga that gripped the region. Sally will be deeply missed by her husband, Thomas; son, Brendan (Shirley); granddaughters Violet and Olive; siblings Gerald Lojzim (Ann) and Janet Weingartner; and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1st, at 10 a.m. at Center Church, the First Church of Christ in Hartford, CT.
