Mable Rousselle Bouvier Eiserloh went into Eternal rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the age of 91.
Mable was born July 18, 1930 to the late Syphorien Rousselle and Alice St. Amant Rousselle. Mable was preceded in death by her first husband Earl A. Bouvier, Sr. and her second husband Elroy G. Eiserloh. Devoted mother of the late Earl A. Bouvier, Jr. (Diane), Sandra A. Bouvier (John), Terri B. Bono (Bobby), and Connie B. Gray (Erin). Stepmother of Mark Eiserloh, the late Keith Eiserloh (Sue), the late Brian Eiserloh, and the late Dionne Eiserloh. Grandmother of Scott Truxillo Sr. (Yoexys), Aaron Truxillo (Krystal), the late Brandon Earl Truxillo (Jenna), Dwayne Bouvier (Shannon), Jason Bono (Tiffany), Jodi LaBove (Jan), Eric Falgout (Libna), and Cassie Gray (Timothy). Great-grandmother of Scott Truxillo Jr., Alex Truxillo, Darian Truxillo, Dillon Truxillo, Madyson Truxillo, Bryson Truxillo, Valan Kessler, Brooklyn Rudolph, Megan Bouvier, Madison Bouvier, Gianna Bono, Griffin Bono, Jensen LaBove, Josslyn LaBove, Jacob LaBove, Jaiden LaBove, Hunter Berrian, and Bradley Berrian. Great-great-grandmother of Amelia Truxillo and Diana Spencer. Sister of the late Joy Este, Gloria Gros, Wilbert Rousselle, Birdie Wilford, and Eldrige Pintado. Mable is survived by her loving companion Herbert Merkel. Mable is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the service time. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego, Louisiana.
