Ann Marie St. Amant Hansen, 85, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux. Born April 13, 1936. Passed away on December 29, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Ernest "Ernie" Charles Hansen III MD (Holly); daughters, Mary Ann Guillot and Margaret Ann Guillot (Louis); her grandchildren, Erika Guidry (Jordan), Valerie Adair (Bronson), Bryan Guillot Jr., Hope Guillot, Gus Hansen, Anna Hansen, Lucy Hansen, Dwight Hansen; and great grandchildren, Kenzie Taylor, Isaiah Adair, Kaden Ledet, Jackson Guillot, Blakely Montz. She Is also survived by her sister, Dr. Caroline Hebert (Leo) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Dr. Ernest Charles Hansen Jr.; parents, Julius and Pauline St. Amant; and her great grand son, Drake Taylor.

Ann graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School in 1954. She graduated from St. Mary's Dominican College in 1957. Ann was then married and moved to Thibodaux in 1960.

She is best remembered for her selfless devotion to family, friends, and the Catholic faith. She enjoyed her monthly supper club gatherings, bowling league and playing bridge. She was delighted last week to be able to get together with her old supper club friends, who she had not seen in years due to gathering restrictions. She especially loved spending time at her camp on Grand Isle with family. She never missed events involving her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her husband traveling the world. She was an avid sports fan of baseball and football; she never missed a game. If she could not watch on television, she would have her portable radio in hand to not miss a play.

Ann will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We pray that God rewards her for an exemplary life dedicated to others.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chester Boudreaux, Heather Thomassie, NP of RIMA, Dr. Roger Stueben, and Dr. Patel of CIS. They also would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care. They would last but not least like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Manor where she spent her last days enjoying social activities and mass.
