Avis de décès : Mme Regina Michaud (St. Amant) (1934-01-10 - 2021-09-20)

Regina Louise Michaud St. Amant, 87, was born on January 10, 1934 in Presque Isle, Maine, to predeceased Thomas Michaud (Laborer) and Lillian Bear Michaud (housewife).

She was 8th Child of 11, Roseanna, John, Alice, Edith, Margaret, Irene, Edward Albert, William, Joan and Phillip. She resided in the area and often spoke of the snow and the climate there, Graduated from Caribou High School in 1954. She fell in love and married Richard Brosier. They gave birth to three children- predeceased by Rick Brosier, survived by Catherine Martinez (Ray) and Michael Brosier (Suzanne). He served in the Air Force while she was a Homemaker and worked as a Car Hop at her In-Laws, Charles and Mildred Brosier’s A&W Root Beer Resturant. In 1960 she was widowed and shortly after moved to Tampa, FL. to be by her sister Edith; bought a house on Lambright ST. and worked as a secretary in an attorney’s office. After several years she met Alfred St. Amant and fell in love early of 1968. They were married and gave birth two four children including identical twins, predeceased by Christopher St. Amant, survived by Rebecca McClintock (Bruce), Daniel St. Amant, Anne Marie Prater (Shawn).

In 1971, they moved to the country in Masaryktown, FL. as her children grew up and moved out, she felt the need to expel her nurturing heart to several neighborhood children as her own when she started baby sitting in her own home for about 10 years.

Regina’s heart never shined brighter and demonstrated an enormous amount of love then to be survived by nine grandchildren, Jack McClintock, Maia McClintock, Maddison St. Amant, Loagan St. Amant, Justin Prater, Kevin Prater, Katrina Prater, Ryan Prater and Thomas Prater.

Regina enjoyed being a devout wife, teaching her children and grandchildren to be respectful, compassionate towards others and to give to the less fortunate; she loved to work on her own property in the country with her own two hands, whether it be raking a pile of leaves, planting a vegetable or flower garden, manicuring the grass and never afraid of A hard day’s work- to look back and smile at her achievements. She loved to play bingo, so that she could win and give it to someone she loved. She loved her faith in God as she was always faithfully serving St. Mary’s Catholic Church in anyway, she could- by cleaning it every day for years and assisting the clergy in any and every way she could without asking for anything in return. She loved to turn on the radio to country music and could dance all night long.

Regina fell ill as her body started to weaken due to age. She moved into Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Facility in the end of 2017 that was full of love. As time passed, she grew comfortable with the fact of returning to her lord.

She passed comfortably. She was comfortable about all her loved one’s safety and wellbeing, her achievements and her faith in her lord on September 20, 2021, in her sleep.

Regina was a very down to earth, nonjudgmental, giving person driven by love to anyone that wanted or needed it. She will be missed by many forever because of the tender touch of her enormous heart.

In remembrance of Regina's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to her beloved church - St. Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 18810 US 41, Masaryktown, FL 34604.
