June Anne (St. Amand) Crawford, 74, of Cana, Virginia, endured a long battle with cancer and went to be with her precious Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 6, 2021, at her home.
She was born to Camille and Celia St. Amand in Nashua, New Hampshire, on March 13, 1947. She graduated high school with honors and as valedictorian, she received a bachelor's degree in theology from Faith Bible College International. On Aug 28, 1965, she married her childhood sweetheart, Adrian Crawford, sharing almost 56 years together. June's recent profession was Customer Service Manager at the Blue Mountain Herb Shop where she blessed many with her assistance and love for natural healthcare products. As a dedicated Sunday School teacher at Mount Airy Pentecostal Holiness Church, her passion for the word of God was shared. Great courage, strength, joy and service to others characterized her life. She is fondly remembered for her vivacious spirit in the face of adversity, love and kindness for others and a great love for the presence of Jesus Christ.
June was preceded in death by her father, Camille; sister, Lynn; daughter, Janice; grandson, Joshua; and several other beloved family members. She is survived by her mother, Celia; her husband Adrian; her children, Sheryl and husband, Todd, Ronald and wife, Robin, Aaron, Stephen and wife, Angela; 13 grandchildren; nine siblings and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Mount Airy Pentecostal Holiness Church on 132 Chadwick Lane, Mount Airy, on Monday, July 12 at 7 p.m. Services entrusted to Spencer Funeral Home.
