Elaine Marie Moore, age 65 was born on January 13, 1956 in New Orleans, LA earned her angel wings on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

Elaine attended Edgar P Harney Elementary School, Carter G. Woodson Middle School, and Booker T. Washington High School. While in school she participated in extracurricular activities such as track and field and The Lady Tigerettes. She held vital roles with her employment at IBM, Martin Marietta, Middle South, Garden District Bed and Breakfast, New Orleans Marriott, and Sears are just to name a few. She later retired from full-time employment and worked part-time at McDonald's so she can spend more time as a full time Maw-Maw. She was also an avid New Orleans Saints "Who Dat" fan.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Moore and June Mary St. Amant Moore. Mother of two daughters with LeVaughn Smith, Lisa Marie Moore and Tiffany Marie Moore and was a mother figure to LeChaun Renee Osborne, Gary Lee Osborne and Brandy Angele Smith. She was survived by her siblings Robert Moore, Sr; Glenn (Kathleen) Moore, Sr; Tina Moore; Victer (Dale) Moore, Michael Moore and Patricia Diane Hughes. She became a devoted and proud grandmother of her six grandchildren, Lailian Marie Moore, Rayanna Marie Johnson, Tiana Marie Johnson, Ah'Dreana Delany Moore, Lance Emmanuel Moore, and K'ameron Xavier Moore. She also was a bonus grandmother and Great grandmother to LeChaun, Gary and Brandy's children and grandchildren. Elaine was the aunt of Shelita, Aisha, Kasey, Terri, Lamont, Robert Jr, Christopher, Corey, Victer, Lawrence, Glenn Jr, Quincy and Tyrone will truly miss her fun-loving and bubbly personality. She will also heavily be missed by her great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe "Home of St. Jude the Shrine", 411 N. Rampart St. in New Orleans, LA from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Private Burial.
