Susan P. St. Amand, 74, of Midland, passed away on December 21, 2020. She was born to the late Stanley and Helen (Pachulski) Sermon on November 1, 1946. Susan married Victor St. Amand on December 26, 1968 and they shared 52 wonderful years together. Susan met her soulmate, Vic St. Amand, at the age of 18 at the University of Michigan. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts, cum laude, from U of M and went on to teach at Jefferson Junior High School in Midland. Family was everything to Susan St. Amand. Sue loved playing tennis, bridge and euchre with friends and family. Sue adored the water. Her great joys were swimming in the ocean in Florida or in Lake Michigan. She loved walking on the Ludington beach or watching the sunset with her husband. Susan is at peace with her Lord Jesus Christ. Susan is survived by her husband, Victor, daughters, Allison St. Amand (with husband Isaac Marcus) and Vicki (St. Amand) Mauseth (with husband Ted), and grandchildren, Tige and Victor Mauseth. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Carol Sermon, niece Karen Weaver and nephew, Ken Sermon. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Sermon. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider giving a donation to charity.
