Avis de décès : M. Robert H. Pandolfi (1941-03-29 - 2020-06-20)

Robert H. Pandolfi, age 79, of Chicopee, passed away suddenly as a result of a heart attack on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Westfield, son of the late Frank and Eva (St. Peter) Pandolfi, grew up in East Springfield and was a 1959 graduate of Cathedral High School.

Bob worked at Falls Provision as Produce Manager and was also Manager of John Martinelli Company. He also did home improvement work for more than 30 years, specializing in painting and wallpaper.

Bob was known to be a very meticulous person, and loved gardening and caring for his lawn. He enjoyed a good Manhattan and getting together with friends at the 99 Restaurant, especially Jerry and Helen Ratell, whom he had been friends with for 65 years.

As the Patriarch of the Pandolfi’s, his family was his life—he was the rock and kept his family on the front burner. He cherished his wife, children and grandchildren, siblings and extended family.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Pauline C. (St. Amand) Pandolfi, three children, Paula Roy and her husband Jim of Chicopee, Karen Britt of Springfield and David Pandolfi and his wife Meaghan of Longmeadow; eight grandchildren: Bryan Roy and his wife Lucy, Jenna and Elise Roy, Gianna and Anthony Britt, and Cailin, Nolan and Nora Pandolfi; a sister, Carmela O’Leary of Agawam and two brothers, Ken Pandolfi and his wife Holly of Yarmouthport, and Tom Pandolfi and his wife Lisa of Granby and many nieces and nephews. Bob was also predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, James and Gary Pandolfi.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke (masks and social distancing required). Burial will be private.

The family requests to please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bob to Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
