It is with sadness that the family of Camille Rioux announces his passing, which occurred on October 10th, 2018 at the Loch Lomond Villa.
Born in St. Andre, NB on December 5, 1928, he was a son of the late Alcide and Emma (St. Amand) Rioux, and the loving husband of the late Ethel and Gertrude Rioux. Surviving are his sons Donnie (Julie), John (Wanda) and Jimmy; daughters Nancy Verner (the late Don), Jane Colwell, Diane Bernatchez (the late Barney), and Doris McKay. Also surviving are brothers Pierre (the late Laura), O’Neill (the late Yvette), brother-in-law Mike Kuba, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his wife and parents, Camille was pre-deceased by his son Camille Jr, sisters Velma Gagnon and Rena Kuba, as well as brothers Harvey and Maurice, and a grandson, Mark Bernatchez.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Keeping with Camille’s wishes, a private family service will be held. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
