At her home on the Anderson Road, on September 19, 2018, Anna (St. Peter) St-Amand (St. Thomas) passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Anna was married to the late Lawrence St-Amand. Anna was born in Lerwick in 1929, a daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl (McQuade) St. Peter.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 yrs, Lawrence and daughter Judith Deleavey and son-in-law Terry. Also predeceased by her sisters, Idella and Lydia, brothers, Olis, Loomis, Clarence, Marven, Delbert and her parents Elmer and Pearl. Anna is survived by her three sons, James (Marjorie) of Anderson Road, John (Darlene) of Plaster Rock and Joe (Patricia) of Bellgrove, three daughters, Jane (Gerald) of Anderson Road, Joyce of Plaster Rock and Julia (Dale) of Anderson Road, 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two brothers, Eldon of Plaster Rock and Evans of Lerwick, two sisters, Emma Rioux of Quebec and Marilyn Whitmore of Plaster Rock, sisters-in-law, Pat Zeller of Ohio, Delaware, Joanne St-Amand of Grand Falls, Noella St. Peter of Lerwick, Rose St. Peter of Lake Edward and Roberta Curran of Perth-Andover.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Saturday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Damon McKillop officiating. Interment will be in the Anfield Community Cemetery.
