With great sadness, we announce that Chris St. Amant succumbed to heart complications, in his 55th year, at his residence, on April 2, 2018.
He will be sincerely missed by his cherished son Evan and Evan’s mother Marilyn (nee Graydon). Chris’s father was the late Oswald St.Amant. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his mother Annette (nee Moreau), his siblings and their families: David and Brenda (Mathew and Mitchell); Marty and Shelley (Danielle, Bradley, Michael and great niece Naomi); Susan St. Amant; Kevin and Diane (Colin and Austin); Keith and Charlene (Jennifer and Jill); and Marc and Karie (Thomas and Joshua).
Chris was a great tradesman and took great pride in his work and business enterprises. Among his many talents, he, along with his partner, Sandy Ansell, enjoyed motorcycle riding, making maple syrup, cooking and creating wood works.
He was also a honourary Penetanguishene volunteer fire fighter. Chris had a heart of gold and was generous to his many friends and co-workers, and was sincerely proud to be called Uncle Chris.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life on May 5th, 2018, at the Penetanguishene Curling Club, from 2-5 pm.
