Mrs. Beverly Ann Duke (St. Amant), of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Thursday March 15, 2018 at the age of 71.

Beverly was born to parents Elliot and Neola St. Amant on November 28, 1946 in Biloxi, MS. She grew up as the youngest of three. Beverly was a champion roller skater & traveled all over the Southeast to compete. In 1963, she married, Melvin LeRoy Vernor & they had 1 child. In 1974, she started a new chapter in life & married Robert R. "David" Duke. Robert was a Major in the Air Force and their world travel began. Between the Military & Lockheed they lived in Japan, Europe & Africa. In 2000 they retired & moved to Homosassa, FL. & continued to travel the US in their Safari Motorhome. Beverly was also a proud member of the Homosassa Elks Lodge where she served on the Veterans Committee which she truly loved.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Tamera L. & Ken Hyde; her brother, Bernard St. Amant; her granddaughter, Carolan Hyde; her great granddaughter, Aaliyah Hyde; and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Duke; her sister, Geraldine Belesky; and her parents, Elliot & Neola St. Amant.

I know that Beverly touched a lot of lives & thank you to everyone that touched hers.

Beverly is being cremated & will be laid to rest with her husband Robert R. Duke in The Florida National Cemetery (Bushnell).
