Donald L. Tassinari, 76, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2017 with his wife by his side. Born May 1, 1941 in Palmer, he was the son of Remo L. and Jeanne C. (Rouleau) Tassinari. Donald graduated from Monson High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army. For over 40 years, he worked at the former Pearson's Industry as a foreman and was a part time police officer in Monson. In his leisure, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a well known handy man for anyone who needed his skills. Donald will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen (St. Amand) along with their children, Anthony of Palmer, Janeen and Richard Malo of Monson, and Leo of Minneapolis, MN. He also leaves his dear grandchildren, Kyle Tassinari and Jannah, Julia and Benjamin Malo, his brother and sister in law, James and Ursula St. Amand, niece Andrea Mastalerz and nephews Eric and Jonathon St. Amand. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Timothy J. in 2009. The family wishes to thank the two young men who stopped to assist Donald and Kathy along with the care from the ER staff at Harrington Hospital. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 4th from 4-6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer-due to the weather, Donald Tassinari arrangements will be held on Friday, January 5th from 4-6:00 visitation and a service to begin at 6:00 at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
