Avis de décès : M. Armand Poirier ( - 2017-11-14)

Armand "Pete" Poirier died peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the age of 88.

Pete was born in Detroit, MI, the son of Ralph and Yvonne Poirier. He grew up in Sandwich, where his love of the ocean and fishing began. Pete spent two years in the army, and then moved to Chicopee, where he worked in construction. He married the late Jeannine St. Amand, and they had two children. In 1969 he relocated to Bridgewater, with his family, and continued to work in the construction trade, and then for the Peterbuilt Trucking Co. Pete never lost his love for the Cape, where he spent some of his happiest days fishing with his son Michael, and Mike's wonderful friends. In 1977 he moved to West Bridgewater, where he built the log cabin home that he loved so much. Pete and Jeannine enjoyed sharing their home, and were happiest when cooking for family and friends. Anyone who knew Pete, knew that his door was always open. He will be deeply missed.

Pete was predeceased by his wife, Jeannine, his son, Michael, and his sister, Germaine Lanzikos of Bridgewater. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Arthur Kish; his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Sharon Poirier of Attleboro; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
