Diane Gustafson, 71, died Tuesday August 8, 2017 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Born in Fall River, Mass., April 6, 1946 the daughter of Benoit and Florence (St.Amand) Lachance and was a graduate of Jesus Mary Academy, then entered the convent of Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirmed and received the Registered Nurse Degree from Marcy Hospital in 1972.
In 1980 she married Arnold Gustafson and continued nursing in the seacoast area of New Hampshire hospitals and nursing homes and retired from Langdon Place of Keene.
Diane was a member of the Garrison Players, Voices of the Holy Spirit in Keene, South Berwick Community Chorus, the choir at St. Joseph Church, Center Ossipee and the Carmel Connection. An avid card player like canasta, golf and other card games. She enjoyed going to the beach especially Great Island Common.
In addition to her husband of 37-years she is survived by their son Jon Gustafson and his fiancée Melissa Steere of Sanbornville, an aunt, cousins and godchildren.
Services: Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday August 11 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parish of the Assumption, St. Joseph Church, 150 Central Ave., Dover.
