It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, of Louis A Rancourt on March 21, 2017.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife Lise, and children Louis (Marsha) of Montville, Maine, Ramona (Brenda) of Bristol, Conn., Josephine of Waterville, and Eric (Natasha) of Winslow. He is survived by his sister Rachel Vince of Waterville. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews; a multitude of friends; and his two stepdaughters Christine and Brigitte. He was preceded in death by his mother Estelle St. Amand; his beloved wife Beverly and his brother John.

Louis owned Rancourt's Building Maintenance until his retirement and resided in Oldsmar, Fla. for the past seven years. He relished the good things in life i.e., family, friends, his love for China Lake, lobster and ice cream, animals, birds, fishing, the ocean, art and traveling. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

He was a gentle giant, loving, strong, humorous, and he had much love for his children.

A celebration of his life will be held at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville, Maine, on Saturday May 20 at 11 a.m., burial following at Morse's Corner Cemetery on Exeter Rd in Corinna. A gathering will be held immediately following Mass in the church Hall and burial to follow.

Sa mère, Estelle Rancourt a épousé Léo Delphis St-Amand. Léo Delphis St-Amand était le fils d'Aimé St-Amand et d'Octavie Trial; le petit-fils de Joseph Francois St-Amand et d'Euphrosine Marie St-Germain. Léo Delphis est un descendant de Michel Lebrette dit St-Amand.
