Paul E. Acosta, 29, passed away March 18, 2017. Born in Norwood, he was the beloved son of Edgar and Elaine (Stone) Acosta. Paul was the brother of Andrew Acosta (Taylar Nunes), Adrienne Acosta (Drew Scharns), and Phillip Acosta; Paul was the father of his beloved Kassidy St. Amand; Paul was the maternal grandson of Grace Stone and the late Joseph Stone, and the paternal grandson of the late Cecilia Obaldia and Edgar R. Acosta, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A resident of Providence, RI, previously lived in Vermont, originally from North Attleboro, MA. Paul was a graduate of North Attleboro High School Class of 2006. He attended classes at Vermont Community College. Paul will be remembered as a generous, kind and fun loving person. He found joy in helping others in times of crisis. He loved his daughter Kassidy very much. Those that knew him, will know that his sense of humor and smile filled a room with joy. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Sunday, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations be made in his memory to the English for Action, PO Box 29405, Providence, RI 02909.
