Phyllis Joubert, 81, of Court St., Middletown, died Saturday January 28, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Frederick and Agnes (Gilman) Joubert. Prior to her retirement, Phyllis was employed at Bess Eaton Donuts.
She is survived by her children, Linda Tuccitto and her husband Richard of Middletown, David St. Amand of Middletown, Joseph St. Amand and his partner, Michael Suprenant of NY, James St. Amand and his wife Lori of Berlin, Kathy Colby and her husband Kevin of Middletown, Wayne St. Amand of Middletown, Lisa St. Amand of Middletown; her step children, Dawn Hinton and her husband Anthony, Terry Ostrowski, and Stanley Niro; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson. She was predeceased by her best friend and former husband, Edmund St. Amand; two sisters, Barbara Basso and Mildred Loosemore; three grandsons, and one great great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday (Feb, 2nd) at 11:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Middlesex Hospital Weiss Hospice Unit, c/o Dept. of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
