Avis de décès : M. Edward Joseph St. Amant (1942-02-12 - 2016-04-14)

Edward Joseph St. Amant, 74, of Enfield, entered into eternal life with his loving family at his side on Thursday Apr. 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis D. (Bertrand) St. Amant.

Edward was born on Feb. 12, 1942 in Madawaska, Maine to the late Albert and Alice (Dufour) St. Amant. He had resided in Enfield for the past 45 years and in Hartford before that. Prior to retiring in 2004 Ed was employed with Stanadyne Diesel Systems for 40 years. Ed was an avid vegetable gardener, handyman extraordinaire, self-taught diverse musician and song writer, devoted husband, father and pepere. He loved the Red Sox and UCONN Women's Basketball, had a wonderful sense of humor, tender heart and soul and will be missed by all. Ed was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Enfield.

Besides his wife Phyllis of 53 years, Ed is also survived by his three children; Monique Bloise & husband Fred of Rochester, NH, Randy St. Amant & wife Tricia of Winston Salem, NC and Christine Greene & husband James of Enfield, his seven grandchildren; Aubrey Lambert & husband Joshua , Sarah Jones, Jordan Holtz, Seth St. Amant, Casey Bloise, Sharon St. Amant and Aliza Greene, his three cherished great grandchildren; Donovan Jones, Ethan Jones and Nolan Lambert, his siblings; Roger St. Amant of Windsor, Florence Beaupre of Ellington, Rolande Bouchard of Leesport, PA, Claudette Beaulieu of Castroville, TX and Joyce St. Amant of Windsor, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed was also predeceased by a sister; Doris Beaulieu and two brothers; Reginald and Leo St. Amant.

Ed's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday Apr. 18, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday Apr. 19, 2016 with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 am at the funeral home to St. Patrick Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
