It is with heartfelt loss that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel “Dan” St. Amand at his home in Winsloe, on Friday, May 1st, 2015, age 61. Beloved father of Catherine St. Amand (Mark Kelly) Morell. Lovingly remembered by Catherine’s mother, Hazel Bulger-St. Amand, Winsloe; brothers, Mike (Lorraine) Penetang, ON; Dave (Fran) Nepean, ON; Wilf, (Dorothy) Portland, Ore; sister, Judy Farrell (Anthony) Midland, ON; and sister-in-law, Penny (Bedford, NS). Predeceased by his mother Helen (McMullen) St. Amand, brothers, Gerry, Doug (twin), and sister, Lorene. Beloved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Dan was a retired teacher, avid fly-fisherman, and a cherished member of the PEI music community. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in St. Bridgid’s Cemetery, Foxley River. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to UPEI (music student scholarship to be arranged in Dan's memory) would be appreciated.
