In Loving Memory of Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (St. Amand) Lacasse, 68 years, Monday, January 5th, 2015 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Gilles Lacasse (predeceased) and Antti Porkola of Sudbury. Loving mother of Carole Hass (Dave), Dave (Therese), Raymond (Cathy) and son in law Bradley Hass. Cherished grandmother of David, Jennifer, Chanelle, Krista, Craig and Johnathan. Dear daughter of Eldage and Delia (Mitchell) St. Amand both predeceased. Dear sister of Joyce (Armand Madore predeceased), Bené (Susanne), Clifford (Sandra), Gerald, and predeceased by May Gudrunas, Frank (Sharon of Sudbury), Delia Tullock and June Pinette. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and her greatest friend Anna Lisa Visneskie. Dear sister in law of Cecile Peterson, Loucille Lacasse and Regent Lacasse.
Betty was a gifted writer, she was proud of her book and work with the literacy program. She helped produce the Food Chart for the Canadian Diabetic Association. Betty enjoyed spending time at the bingo, working on her crafts or helping friends and family plan events.
Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Friday, January 9th, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. (Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday or after 12 noon Friday). Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
