Leona (St. Amand) Michaud, 78, passed away peacefully at The Vitas Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday morning. She was the beloved wife of Roland Michaud.
Born in Lyme Stone, ME on Oct 17, 1935 and she was a resident of Wolcott for over 50 years. She was a retired nurse and had worked at nursing homes for over 30 years.
Besides her husband of over 57 years, she is survived by her son Mark and his wife Judy Michaud of Spartanburg, SC , daughters Eileen and husband Robert Davis of Naugatuck, JoAnn Belaus of Irving, TX, Heidi and husband TJ Meade of Shelton, a sister Hazel Radcliff and brothers Normand and Joseph St. Amand and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday 9 am from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for Mass at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
