Ronald F. St. Amand, 64, of Brookfield died Friday, September 27th in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Marguerite E. (Sanders) St. Amand; his father, Francis St. Amand; his brother, Mark A. St. Amand and his wife, Janice all of Worcester; a niece, Danielle and a nephew, Christopher.
He was born in Worcester the son of June A. (Conger) St. Amand. Mr. St. Amand was a microbiologist at UMASS Memorial for 20 years, retiring in 2011. He also enjoyed teaching at Worcester State University for the last 20 years. Ronald had a passion for photography and was an avid gardener. He loved his dog who always accompanied him hunting.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd in O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 AM. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
