Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Martina Lorraine St. Amant, 85, who died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Janise officiating the services. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth L. St. Amant of Abbeville and Lee Roy St. Amant and his wife, Jackie of Erath; two grandchildren, Jude St. Amant of Abbeville and Trevor St. Amant of Erath; and one great grandchild, Bretin St. Amant of Abbeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elex St. Amant; and her parents, Edgar "Black" LeBlanc and the former Elise Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Friday, August 2, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
