Henry W. St. Amant, Sr., age 82, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Beloved husband of 58 years to Frances B. St. Amant. Devoted father of Henry W. St. Amant, Jr. (Barbara Nicoll), Debra Brondum and Kaylynn St. Amant. Grandfather of Kristina Torregano, Jessica Darby, Bernard Brondum, Jenny Brondum, Laura Lee Brondum, Gerald Dupre and Michael Stucke. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Eunice Delise. Godfather of Jamie Darenbecker and Elaine Trapani. Preceded in death by his parents, Louise and William St. Amant and his sibilings, Rosemary Pelanne, William P. St. Amant, Jr., Gloria Basto, and Pearl Anderson. A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. Henry retired from Troendle Floors where he worked for 59 years as an installer. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will from 12:00 noon until service time. Inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
