Avis de décès : Mme Alice M St. Amand (Gozdur) (1933-10-16 - 2010-01-30)

Alice M. (St Amand) Gozdur, 76, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday January 30, 2010 in the UMASS Memorial Hospital 119 Belmont St. surrounded by her loving family.

Alice is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years Ernest J. Gozdur, two sons David Gozdur and his wife Mary of Holden, and Edward Gozdur and his wife Kathy of Huntsville Alabama, three grandchildren; Christopher, Garrett, and Michelle. Alice also leaves three sisters; Florence Hayes, of Worcester, Cecile Catterson, and Jane Gemma both in Rhode Island, three brothers; Edward St Amand of Auburn, Francis St Amand and Leo St Amand both of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces.

Alice was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Nolet) St Amand and lived here all her life. Alice worked for Allegro Micro as an inspector for many years before she retired. She was a long time member of Our Lady Of Providence/St. Bernard Church. Alice was an avid reader and loved to travel, tend to her flower garden and be with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Alice’s funeral will be held Thursday from the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in Our Lady Of Providence/St Bernard Church 228 Lincoln St. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 5-8PM on Wednesday. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
