In loving memory of Neil G. St. Amant, 59 years, Thursday, November 5th 2009 at the SRH-St. Joseph's Health Center.
Born in Parry Sound, Neil grew up in Garson. He married Laurelle (nee Lafond) in 1975 in Coniston. He worked at INCO having over 35 yrs service, retiring in 2005. Neil was an avid golfer. He spent many happy times at the family property on Fairbanks Lake. Neil will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and wit which he generously shared with all who knew him. He was devoted to his loving family who were the priority of his life especially his precious granddaughter.
Beloved husband of Laurelle (Lafond) St. Amant. Father of Jennifer (Bill Rainboth) and Craig. Cherished Poppa to Avery. Dear son of George and Audrey (Campeau) St. Amant predeceased. Loving brother of Betty predeceased, James (André Mailloux), Lloyd predeceased, Dorothy (Al Gabrysz), Tammy (Bill Davidson). A special uncle to Dawson. Dear brother-in-law of Madeleine (George Aho), Diane (Murray McCumber), Donald Lafond (Susie), Robert Lafond (Connie) and Marcel Lafond (Tracey Gillies). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
