Réginald "Bonpapa" Amand husband of Julienne (Mestre) Amand formerly of Lockhart Avenue in Moncton, passed away on Friday, September 11th, 2009 at the Villa du Repos.
Reginald will be survived by his loving wife of 64 years Julienne (Mestre) Amand; son, Stephane Amand and his wife Ginette of Dartmouth, NS; daughter, Beatrice LeBlanc and her husband Roland; grandchildren, Julien, Emilie, Gabrielle, Christine, Isabelle and Nathalie; six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Nelly; daughter, Rose-Marie Thewissen; son, James, sister, Denise and brother, Joseph.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, September 14th from 6-9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ Roi, corner of Essex St. and Dominion St. on Tuesday, September 15th, at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service at the Club D'Age D'Or Christ Roi.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
