St. Amand, Royal David RCAF WWII Veteran Peacefully on July 2, 2009 with family by his side at the age of 86.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Jane Ward. Loving father of Patricia (Michel), Louise (Fernando), Gary (Joanne), Keith and Peter. Dear grandpa of Tina, Anthony, Marco, Peter, Michel, Candice, Wesley; great-grandfather of Jacob, Erica, Nicholas, Danica and Kassandra. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Oscar St. Amand and Rose Parent, brothers Gaston, George, Nelson and Maurice. Survived by sisters Lucille, Claire, Rosette and sister-in-law Eleanor.
The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at the Perley-Rideau Veterans Health Centre (Ottawa East 2).
A Funeral Service was held at Beechwood Cemetery on July 11, 2009 in the Chapel. He was interred with his wife at the Beechwood Cemetery (Military Section).
