St. Amant, Kathleen "Kay" passed away peacefully at the Georgian Manor Nursing Home with family by her side on Sunday October 26th, 2008 in her 89th year.
Beloved wife of the late Bernard St. Amant. Loving and caring mother of Anita Dubeau (Bert), Harvey, Ron (Helen), Stephen (Sandra), Carol Courville (Barry), Gail Hamelin (Brian) and Doug (Tina). Special grandma of Mark (Debbie), Brent, Carmen (Claude), Matthew, Geoffrey, Sam, Sally, Christine, Blaire, Jessica, Christopher, Zachary, Erin and Erica. Great grandmother of Francois, Stephanie and Jamie. Sister of Verna Short of Schomberg, Ontario. Sadly missed by her sister-in-laws Betty Gravelle, Annette St. Amant, Marie Lacroix and Francis St. Amant. Kay will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Kay will be fondly remembered for her volunteerism in the community.
Visitation was held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street Penetanguishene on Monday October 27th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann's Church on Tuesday October 28th, 2008 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
If desired, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Huronia Hospitals Foundation- PGH Rehab Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
