Née à Saint-André en 1954, elle était fille de feu Claude St-Amand et de feu Yvonne Morin. Elle laisse dans le deuil cinq soeurs, Lucette (Jacques Cadieux) de Drummond, Marise (Barry Michaud) de New Denmark, Odette (Jocelyn Durepos) de Drummond, Guilda (Gaétan Aylwin) de Québec et Martine St-Amand de Grand-Sault, trois frères, Léandre (Jeanne) de Chatham, Ontario, Yves (Doreen) de Grand-Sault et Rino (Johanne) de Saint-André, ainsi que des neveux et nièces. Elle a été précédée par un frère, Carmel, le bébé de la famille. Ses funérailles ont eu lieu le jeudi 15 mai à 16 h en l’église de Saint-André, et l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial. Le célébrant était le père William Rice. Les porteurs étaient MM. Yves St-Amand, Rino St-Amand, Réal St-Amand, Pierre Durepos, Dave St-Amand et Eric St-Amand. La direction des funérailles a été confiée à la Maison Funéraire Guy L. O'Regan Ltée. At the Grand Falls Manor, May 12, 2008, Miss Marielle St-Amand of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 54 years. Born at Saint-Andre in 1954, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Yvonne (Morin) St-Amand. She is survived by five sisters, Lucette (Jacques Cadieux) of Drummond, Marise (Barry Michaud) of New Denmark, Odette (Jocelyn Durepos) of Drummond, Guilda (Gaétan Aylwin) of Quebec and Martine St-Amand of Grand Falls, three brothers, Leandre (Jeanne) of Chatham, Ontario, Yves (Doreen) of Grand Falls and Rino (Johanne) of Saint-Andre, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Carmel, the baby of the family. Her funeral was held Thursday, May 15th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church, with Father William Rice officiating. The pallbearers were Yves St-Amand, Rino St-Amand, Real St-Amand, Pierre Durepos, Dave St-Amand and Eric St-Amand. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
