Leon J. St. Amand, 81, of Bristol, husband of Virginia "Martha" (Thibodeau) St. Amand, died on Monday (December 3, 2007), at Bristol Hospital.
In addition to his wife, Mr. St. Amand is survived by a son, Michael St. Amand and his partner, Margie Scott of Bristol; a daughter, Sharon Starr St. Amand and her partner, Andrew Dlugolecki of Waterbury; a brother, Donald St. Amand of Wallingford; a granddaughter, Kristen St. Amand of Florida; a great granddaughter, Madison of Florida; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Leonel, Roland, and Richard St. Amand, and a sister, Collinette St. Amand.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 7, at 10:30 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with military honors to follow. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday between 5 and 8 p.m.
