Passed away peacefully at his home on September 2, 2006, in his 71st year after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years. Donna, their children: Bev Ruddock (Wayne) of Kamloops, B.C., Greg (Jessie) of London, Ont., Sheila Palladino (Domenic) of Kamloops, B.C., Kathy Greaves (Mark) of Shelburne, Ont., and Ginger St. Amand of North Bay and his cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Erin, Josh, Gina, Emily, Matthew, Eric, Shayne, Viktoria, Christopher and Elizabeth. Leo will be sadly missed by his brother Steve Brisson (Connie), step brothers and sisters: Bill Brisson, Blaine and Yvette Brisson, Gerry and Cathy Brisson, Rita and Pat McNulty, Rosa and Dave Holmes, Pauline and Wayne Milne and families and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Margaret and brothers Sonny and Adrian St. Amand.

Leo retired from the O.N.R. in 1990 with 35 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, having coached baseball, hockey, and broomball, enjoyed years of bowling and also thoroughly loved to hunt and fish. But most of all, he looked forward to spending time with all of his family, grandchildren and many friends.

Family receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the N.E.O. Cancer Research Fund or Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
