Richard A. "Bucky" Bousquet, 71, of 161 West St., passed away peacefully, with his loving family around him on Thursday.

He leaves his son Marc A. Bousquet of Missouri, his daughters Roma Wilk of Springfield, Michelle Bousquet-Ketchen of Pennsylvania and Pamela Bousquet of Palmer, his brother Bob Bousquet of Palmer, his sisters Patti Cahoon of South Dennis, Francine Polek of Somers Ct. and Sylvia Cote of Manchester NH, his grandchildren Ashley Bousquet, Nicole and Shana Bousquet-Ketchen, Richard Renaud, and Zachary, Zoe, Zyann, and Zia Bousquet, as well as many nephews and nieces.

He was born in Ware son of Armond and Irene (St.Amand) Bousquet. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Union Local #63, and was the former owner of MAR Heating of Palmer. Bucky was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Ware Detachment Marine Corps League, where he was a Past Commandant, he was also a member of the Three Rivers AMVETS, and of the DAV. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. with a Mass at 10 am in All Saints Church, North St. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 pm.
