Lorenza "Loretta" MarcAurele -- December 22, 1912 -- March 28, 2005 -- Plainfield -- Lorenza "Loretta" MarcAurele, 92, formerly of 14 Winsor Ave., died Monday morning at Village Manor Health Care. She was born December 22, 1912 in Providence, Rhode Island a daughter of the late Albert and Alma (Decelles) St. Amand. Mrs. MarcAurele had resided in Plainfield since 1959, moving from Warwick, RI.
She had been employed for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Villa Maria Convalescent Home in Plainfield, retiring many years ago. Mrs. MarcAurele was a communicant of St. John The Apostle Church.
She first was married to William T. Burdick Sr., who died in 1957 and later married Armand MarcAurele who died in 1986. Survivors include a son William T. Burdick Jr. of Oneco, four grandchildren, Craig Burdick of Columbia, Laurie Methot and her husband Robert of Oneco, Nancy Adams and her husband Garrett of Fall River, MA., and Amanda Burdick of Danielson; two great grandchildren, Kyle and Tyler Methot and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. John Church, Plainfield at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd., Plainfield is entrusted with arrangements.
