Avis de décès : Mme Alice E. Nadeau (St. Amand) ( - 2005-03-04)

St. Amand, Alice E., 81, of Manchester Circle, died Friday at Kent Hospital after being suddenly stricken visiting nursing home patients with the Friendly Visitors. She was the wife of the late George A. St. Amand. A daughter of the late Alfred and Melvina (Laferriere) Nadeau, she had been a lifelong Coventry resident.

Mrs. St. Amand was a cafeteria cook for Coventry High School for over twenty-five years. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Ladies Guild and member of the Friendly Visitors. She was an avid golfer and played in the Coventry Pines Ladies League for many years.

She is survived by her five children, Dennis 'Lefty' St. Amand, Paul St. Amand, Louise Abel, Anne-Marie Kelly and Marguerite Leroux; two sisters, Violette Blanchette and Judith Bouvier, fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Camille Nadeau.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 A.M. from the R.A. Iannotti & Sons Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Coventry. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Monday 4-7 P.M.
