Clement, Irene Agnes (nee Leger) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, July 27, 2004. She was 81.
Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ervin Clement. Dear mother of Paul Clement (Joy), Suzanne Bray (Michel), Rita Asselin (Yvon), Nicole Bazinet (Conrad), Lucie Levesque (Michel) all of Cornwall, Roger Clement (Diane), Maurice Clement (Gisele) and Pierre Clement (Renée) all of Ingleside. Survived by one sister Drucilla O’Neil of Cornwall and by 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred Leger and Ethel St. Amand, 6 sisters, Leona Lemieux, Antoinette Kyer, Stella and Rita Leger, Beatrice Sandelin, and Ida Dumond and by 3 brothers, Alfred, Gerard and Maurice Leger.
Friends may call at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) on Wednesday from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30–10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 29, 2004 in Ste. Croix Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Rite of Committal Nativity Parish Cemetery at a later date.
