Alice (Dufour) St. Amant, 91, of Madawaska, ME and formerly of Windsor, CT, beloved wife of the late, Albert R. St. Amant, died Monday, (January 3, 2005) at a Frenchville, ME nursing home.

Born September 20, 1913 in St. David, ME, daughter of the late Joseph & Henrietta (Sirois) Dufour. She was raised in Madawaska, ME before moving to Hartford in 1955, four years later she moved to Windsor where she lived for 25 years before moving back to Maine in 1986. Alice loved life and enjoyed dancing.

She is survived by three sons, Roger St. Amant and his wife, Agathe of Windsor, Edward St. Amant and his wife, Phyllis of Enfield, Leo St. Amant of Windsor; five daughters, Doris Beaulieu and her husband, Lewellyn of St. David, ME, Florence Beaupre and her husband, Francis of Windsorville, Rolande Bouchard of PA, Claudette Beaulieu and her husband, Roger of Castro, TX, Joyce St. Amant, of Windsor; one sister, Lizianne Beaulieu of Enfield; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons, Reginald, Gilman and Bertrand; three brothers and eight sisters.

Family and friends may gather Friday, January 7, at 9:15 a.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
